Illustrated books for young children
Whether you have the story, the illustrations or both, we can help you make your idea into reality and a beautiful children’s book. Usually less than 500 words, we can help you find an illustrator if you still need the pictures to go with your story.
Early reader chapter books
We love these books! Grown up paperback books, but with a simple story, set out in such a way to make reading accessible. Aimed at young advanced readers, or older children who might be struggling with their reading, these stories often have a lovely moral to the tale, always with a happy ending. The stories are around 1,000-5,000 words and illustrated inside with simple black and white pen drawings.
Middle-grade books
Aimed at 8-12 year olds, these stories are usually around 20,000 to 50,000 words. Friendly, family-based stories with some intrigue and adventure.
Young adult novels
Gritty novels for older readers, YA books often deal with tough issues and big themes, with a teenage protagonist. Usually 55,000 to 80,000 words.
