We Love Boro
We love football here at Sixth Element, and even though we are lifelong supporters of Liverpool (Graeme) and Tottenham (Gillie), we love our local club, the Boro, and we’ve enjoyed working with the club, fans and writers to produce a host of books.
My Only Boro
Will Nett was one of the very first writers we met when we launched our publishing company, and My Only Boro is still one of our best-selling titles.
Oh What Fun It Is!
We had a lot of fun with Hal Gate (not his real name) putting together his collection of anecdotes and stories collected from fans remembering Boro away games. A donation from each book sale was given to the Finlay Cooper Fund.
The Little Book of Boro
In 2019, working with Dave Brown of WH Smith, Yvonne Ferguson of MFC and Rob Nichols of Fly Me To The Moon, we put out a call for supporters of all ages and backgrounds to send in their stories of the Boro. Even though the Covid-19 lockdown scuppered our plans for a competition in 2020, we are hoping to run the competition again and produce The Little Book of Boro #2.
